Look what I just did!!

Hey!

After looking at all freshmike's loverly pics and tanks I decided to take some insparations from him. But not the "wee tenner" as I thought I would but the rockier ones.

My tank isn't very big and I didn't have many rocks to choose from but I think it looks good. There's live plants in there too, which is very important to me and my Otos!

Anyway, freshmike, this one's for you!

After, getting and preparing some rocks/slabs I started to take everything but the water out of the tank. I put the wood you can see about in the already very woody 84US and the red tiger lilly which I think you can see had some very little leaves coming though so I cut off all the damaged big leaves and planted it in the little plant pot and put that in the 84US for now.

I arranged the rocks and plants, made the gravel slope, added the fish. This is what I got...

Here's a closer pic.

What do you think? I like it and the barbs love it! They have been shoaling which isn't normal for them!

Guppies? I have never kept guppies. :blink: I have barbs, otos, corys and blue limas. The blue limas are a bit guppy shaped but without the male's tail.

I can't see any in the pictures, though. Anyway...

I think he means the tiger lily leaves.

They do look like Guppys if you try hard enough.

it was a lily after all, hahahaa, guess i have been so obsess with guppies i m even seeing things now!! hahaa.. :lol:
i have drawn in the pic where i thought the guppy is...lol
