Hello all. sorry for the delay it all went a bit crazy. the eggs are albino cories and i have hundreds of them at the moment in a small tank hatching out. I have no experience with growing these little chaps on so need some advice. At the moment they are about 4 days old. They are in a tank with a little sand at the bottom as i did origanly put the parents in to lay the eggs. Today i found about 50 dead ones. they are white and colourless. this is only a very small portion to how many i do have. The rest are swimming about as manic as the parents lol. i have a very small filter in the tank with a stocking over it as so it wont suck up any of them little ones. I am putting in a very small amount of first bite powder as thats all i have and have fed most of my fish with this and grown all the babies on fine. I do a small water change each morning and have the lights off. Is there anything else i need to do. is the survival rate quite low for the little chaps?.
I have just put my baby albino bristlies in the main tank and have another lot of albinos on the way...the new ones are half longfinned as the female is a long finned and the male a normal albino male. So i have babies all over the place. So any advice on the cories would be gratefull and welcomed, Its apssolutly impossible to get a photo of the babies as you cant see them on a sand base lol. I have an important question. I only have the tank half full at the moment as i didnt know if they needed to go up for air...can anyone advose me on that one.
thanks
