Photos taken at night with just an overhead fluoro and a flash. Day pics don't work because the tank is outside - too much glare to see what's in it.
Stocking is some native rainbows. They're going back to the creek soon so I can fishless cycle. I'm sick of fighting ammonia.
Planting: Hairgrass, anubias afzelli, rotala wallichi, milfoil, thin vallisneria, hydrilla.
There are rock caves in the tank for kribensis (eventual inhabitants). Not sure what else I'll put in it, mainly larger livebearers and dunno what else. Possibly female bettas, at least while the kribs are small. There are three pieces of wood as well.

Tank specs: 2.5 x 18 x ? (forgot measurement) 85 litres/20 gallons with undergravel filter and internal power filter. 50w heater - don't need much heater power in Australia. Not properly cycled :shout: so very few fish. Decor above.

Water staining is nowhere near as bad as it looks , the lighting was dreadful

Would love ot see the fish, will wait for a cloudy day for you to take it during the day.

It's funny actually, cloudy days just don't work. It was hard enough to get a clear shot without glare at night - did you notice that the photos not wrecked by the flash were all obliques? Very annoying, it's a nice tank and I want to show it off! lol

What are you doing for lighting and ferts? Lighting is the most important item for plants. You can't rely on sunlight all of the time.
