went to my local pets at home, not expecting anything spectacular.. and lookie what i found!!!
a double tail!! they had this guy, one with the same shape only solid red, a blue buterflyish DVT, and a bog standard VT. couldnt resist this fella. i went to a PaH further afeild as i kow they have the same suplier, but no bettas at all. not even a label for any, i guess they dont stock them.. but their tanks were a disgrace anyway..
but anyhoo, my new boy, left him floating in with the girls so i could get some pics. he has a little bit of dammage to his lower caudal lobe, i think he was being nipped by tetras, and he has a split in his anal fin too, but that will heal =)
he may have a touch of finrot too.. but il treat him either way just to be sure. it was his dorsal that caught my eye
