my mom got me two new females today. the first is Cambodian in color and the second is a dark blue, like Royal Blue (even tho the colors down show in the photos). the tail spread on the first one looks huge to me, and on the second one looks like the rays are halfmoon rays but she doesnt have the full 180degree spread. what do u all think? they are both young, about half the size of my female Rose Petal. i kno the photos arent very good, they were sittin still until i took the photos, both seem to be very active.

count the number of times each primary divides. 2 rays from each primary ray is typical of vts and pks. 4-8 are for hm, hmpk, sd and delta. 8+ is for rose tail.

Yeah the left one is deff. a VT. ;)
The right one looks like a Delta or VT? I'm not perfectly sure.

thanks guys. i counted on the cambodians rays and how many times they branched, most of them branch twice but on the ends it almost looks like it branches 3 times and the blue one wont expand her tail fin longer then 2 seconds and clamps up if i get the camera out to try and get a shot (its theyre sayin "oh no u dont").
