My First Ever Betta - Mr Fantastic!

I've been thinking of getting a betta for ages but hadn't seen any that looked that healthy in the pet shops near me. Found this little guy when went in for some more guppies for the big tank and fell in lurve. His name is Mr Fantastic and he is living in a cycled 5g hex with an apple snail for company. I may try him with some pygmy cories or otos later on. I know he is just a regular VT and not as lovely as some of your babies, but he has a real personality already, so feisty and curious!

Thanks! I'm really pleased with him... although the filter on his tank conked out about two minutes after I posted those pics... luckily I had a spare in my main tank so have just spent the last few hours up to my elbows moving everything around and having a bit of a re-scape at the same time. If only my house was as tidy as my tanks... He reacted pretty well to the disruption, seemed more interested than scared!
