My Dad's New 4ft Tank Please Take A Look

please take a look at my dads new tank.....i must say he suprised me with this when i see it!!!!its in the middle of its cycle at the moment,but he will get a couple of fish next weekthese pictures were taken on my CANON EOS 400D ....i had to reduce the pictur by 77%and he will be putting cold water fish into it please give your views on the tank and if you have any recomendations on what fish to get please let me know......bear in mind we live in the UK round the Heathrow area.thanks :good:

I think it's a nice tank, but I would use real plants.

And if it's going to be a cold water tank, then you should get goldfish. There are many varieties though I'm sure you know this.

nice tank....no get a heater for bout Â£10 and get cichlids much better :good:

Goldfish tanks are very nice, although remember that your stocking is limited as goldfish are BIG messy OXYGEN needing fish. 6-8" per goldfish is the size usually, don't overstock if your going to get goldfish.

Also I'm assuming the fire underneath the tank is not is use?

Edit: sorry should have said I do like the layout too. not what I would personally go for but it does look cool
