Thought you might like a few pics of 2 of my bettas (I have 5 males and 4 females in total but only these two would stay still long enough today) and my new divided tank, we finally started adding fish yesterday, the 2 in the pics are the ones added so far at opposite ends as I need to get some more perspex to make a tight lid.

Please excuse the messy house!

Pics arent fab, just used my camera which is naff

Tank will have more decoration added and 2 more of my bettas once ive got the perspex for the lid and the filter has caught up with the bioload :good:

sorry thought you'd finished red guy is gorgeous too, who else you planning on putting in there?

Thats ok, you cant attach many pics at once.

My new guy that I posted the other day will be going in there and my blue/white rosetail I got from KG Bettas a pic of him should be posted on here somewhere

Oh BTW they each have about 4.5 UKgallons, although one has slightly less as the inlet from the filter is one side and divided off like the rest of the tank with perspex with holes in it so it slows the flow

Look really good...wish I had room for a divided tank but I haven't....was looking at my kitchen work surfaces today looks a bit like an aquatic shop.....doing water changes at the moment which is Ok if I don't forget where I get to...

Beautiful looking tank Zoe! :good:
Has it got an external filter like mine? I've found it to be really effective and not had any problems.
Is it the Fluval tank? If you get stuck on how to fix the perspex lid, give me a shout and I'll let you know how Steve did mine. ;)

I think you can see 4 of my tanks in one of the pics, ive got 9! and this is to reduce it by 3 so there is more room!

Thanks stang! It does have an external, its an eheim. Its actually an oldish jewel tank I got from ebay for £30!

Looks like a great start!! What size is it?

Its 90 litres, they have 22 litres each well a bit less as the water level is a bit lower than the fullest volume

£30, you lucky girl! It looks great and I bet they'll love having all that room! ;)
