Hi well i posted a thread bout a month ago now bout a few off my fish dying , well i treated it with esha oodinex as i noticed my flame angel had white spots before it died then nicley passed it on to my clown fish. Well its finally crashed on me so have no fish at all now. Just my crabs an anemones so we are off to the pet shop tommoz for some advice gonna try and get someone out to have a look at our tank.

Also since we have topped our coral sand up we have noticed this brown algae is this good or bad ? will it go on its own ?

Sorry i am new to this what do you mea cycle the tank it has been up and running for 3 years but i have only had te tank 2 months, we just topped the sand up is tht bad ?

well if its been running 3 years and 2 months its already cyled
cycled/cyling is when your tank first establish the live rock wich has die off from the car journey this will cause ammonia then nitrite then nitatre then you stats should all be 0 this process is uasaly 3 weeks ish but urs is alreay done- have you got a test kit?
also if the algae is growing it could be a number of things like to high phospthate, direct sunlight and a few other things buy a mag-float and clean the glass as for the sand try buyng a sand sifting starfish of sand sifting crab this will clean the sand
also have u got a phopthate remover.

als buy a cleaner shrimp this will eat white spot-and they are very sociable lol

oh right we have amonia in the water thts why think our jewel wrasse died, so we have bought something called purigen like a bag we have put in our sump tank tht soaks all the ammonia up.
we have bought 2 cleaner shrimps think they are very interesting to watch lol
we have a test kit the ph was abit high but we have done a water change and the levels are fine now.
