Is it just me or are those impossible shots,those cardinals are so fast you can hardly ever take a decent pic.How did you do it

there are tricks. you have to have....

A: good camera.
B: Stay still for a while.

Cameras blow up pictures in big proportions. It just takes patience, a lotta shots, and a camera that gives big pictures so you can crop to the cardinal.

Thanks so much for the feedback very much appreciated. I have the cardinals over a year they are one of my favourite fish. For good shots of the fast fish like cardinals I take about a hundred to get a few really good ones, either my hand shakes or the fish moves (its one way to pass the time ). I got a new camera a canon D400 the quality of the pics is great, though I don’t yet know what half the menus do, I got pics I was happy with from the fuji finepicx.

Here is a pic with the new camera, I tried to get eyes in the eggs with fuji but it never came clear enough, here you can see the developing embryos eyes in the eggs, uber cute , wonder if they can see , they are pretty near to hatching when the eyes are visable.
