Pregnant?

these are my 2 feamale guppies and ahve been with males for about two weeks do they look pregnant in these pics.they arnt fat though. there proberly not but just a check! :)

No their not but u got some loverly fish though.

Give them time to settel in and your have loads soon.
 
They aren't... yet. It looks like you have a male in there. You'll have babies within the next 3 months, trust me. ;)
 
thats true they do look like they may be pregnant but its not that clear. just see if the black blob gets bigger and if it those congrats u have fry.
 
Ok thanyou :) im just getting impatient at the moment :lol: i just cant wait becuse i have never had fry before!

i think u mean gravid spot. well its just a black spot they have near there umm think its their anal fin but not sure. but yeah its just lke a black spot they have

Fish bodies are translucent, meaning they're not see through but light passes through them. It's the internal organs you're seeing. In the females, the gravid spot is always there, sometimes less noticable or not at all noticable. When she becomes pregnant, the fry occupy the same area in her body, darkening the area making it more pronounced. Sometimes you can't see it still. In Guppies it is the most pronounced. Depending on the color of you fish it may be difficult to see.
