I went to petco to get my bettas. I saw a short finned male there and tottaly fell in love and ended up getting him.is he a plaket? or just really young? I plan on trying to breed him

only advice i can give is to look under the ventral fins for a small white dot. if there is one, youve got a female

it is very pretty. to take a good piccie, you need to put it in something small and with clean glass and be patient.. :good:

Thats not stricktly true as some Plakat Males have the ovipositor until they reach maturity, at which point it vanishes.
