I would very much like to find some of these big boys...

They are my favourite cory (barring C. Pygmaeus), and They would fit in well in my tank. I've just purchased 5 young peppers, and won't be puttinh in anything else for at least 2 weeks, so I have plenty of time to look. I'm in the Cardiff/Caerphilly SOuth Wales Area.

Thanks all! Also any info from anyone who has kept them (are they more boistrous/dig too much etc.)

Hi. This fish is now classified as Scleromystax barbatus. I have kept and spawned this fish. They require cooler temps than most Corydoradine catfish and will not do well in warmer water. I woul target 75º as the high end. They are not particularly hard to find. These guys love to jump, so do keep their tank covered. Dominant males will beat-up on other males in the group, especially during spawning. They are a very beautiful fish and I'm sure you would enjoy them. - Frank
