How do I reduce the size of my files! Even in .jpg they're still too large to upload, using my digital camera here and all the pics are over 1mb!!! how do I minimize it more to show off my fish!?

I can add pictures here, but I can't add them on the beginners section or the cichlid section is there a reason for this?.
