Ok, I am planning for my 250g tank and was wondering what type of cories I should get. I was thinking one of the larger liknds, I don't know what the names are, though. I don't like albino ones at all, they creep me out a bit. I was thinking about the Sterbai's but I don't know. There will be many very active fish in the tank with them, but nothing that will attack them. I want a fish that comes out, but is not overly active. What kind is best for me? I 'm planning on getting about 15-20 of whatever it is.

brochis multlradiatus is larger fish but very not cory but close relate and most of the time sell as cory.

Croydoras robustus,Corydoras semiaquilus these are bigger fish.

Could you tell us what your projected stocking is because not all smaller fish are cory compatible.

I like the look of Corydoras Narcissus or Super Arcuatus, quite big for a cory too.

There's gonna be bala sharks, clown loaches, zebra plecos, roseline sharks, harlequin rasboras, kuhlie loaches, and a few other fish. If anything attacks the cories it will be moved, because cories are one of my favorites.

if you want big corys then as suggested, Narcissus or Super Arcuatus.

I have 4 Narcissus and trust me they ARE huge !! i also have some SA coming at the end of the month.

I like the narcissus. I guess I'd get about 20 of them. I really like the sterbai's, too, I've seen pics of them. So I could get like 30 Stebais and 20 Narcissus and they would get along fine? Would the clown loaches, kuhlie loaches, or zebra plecs bother or be bothered by them?

250 gallon? Where the heck is it going? where the heck is the money for that? you're insane!

But we all are :good:

I can;t wait to see it get off the ground.

Going: In my basement
Money: At $8 a week, it'll be a few years before I get enough money, lol.
I can't wait until I can get it!! I'll post like 10 pics a day lol.

Wow, a 250 gallon tank...I'll try to not drool :p . But what I'd say is just look up Cory species and see which one makes your fancy, there's a lot of species to choose from. The question is would you want the small ones, which might look pretty cool in a big tank like that...or do you want a larger species.

With that size tank and if you get 20 of the cories like you are saying, then I dont see the loaches bothering them. You could get a nice school of loaches for a tank that size. You really have a lot of possiblities :good:

The cories will not bother any one. The clown loaches may get grumpy, but with all that space, you should be fine.
