Well....I cleaned the gravel today (was like the vendor just dug it out of a river...was almost like sludge and took forever to clean) took me a couple hours. Added the gravel, fake tree stump, built a couple caves, and filled 'er up!!! There is a big empty space in the middle for my bog wood....it's soaking in a bucket right now. Will add it to the tank in a couple days....probably some live plants too. Let me know what you think....but remember...it will look a lot different in a few days. :)

looking good so far  what fish are you gonna get?
once you got your bogwood and plants in there and maybe a plain background to hide those wires?it will look sweet

Thanks Cane! I updated my signature with the fish I am thinking of getting. I'm sure it will look much better with the bogwood and plants. I agree with the background tip.....I will have one, I just haven't decided on what I want yet....I think I'll wait until I have the wood/plants in and see what will look good...maybe some kind of rockscape or cave...

Cave 2, needs support by the looks of it, one nudge or plec hanging from that and itll collapse....i could be wrong but it just doesnt look safe.

waht about turning the front slate 180 degrees so the point is in the ground and the flat edge is under the top, with a little silicon itll be perfect :)

Hi DarkEntity....I see how it can look a bit dodgy from the pics....but it's actually pretty sturdy...the picture makes it look like the piece of slate on the left side is supporting the structure, but it is just leaning up against it for a bit of cover. I should probably just lay it down and make the entrance larger.

Thank you for the feedback......I'm hoping for more as the tank progresses.
