Feline Fish Hobbyist!

While taking pics of my tank for members' comments, my blue Chartreuse, Murzik, decided to muscle in on the act. He loves watching the fishes as much as the rest of us do- I think he may have been a fishkeeper in a previous life!

that is an amazing photo, i love the way you get the blue of his fir but on the dark side of his face you just see a hint of his eye...

Thanks, everyone! My wife was the one who took the photos; her hobby is photographing nature, and the tank was a wonderful opportunity for her to test her camera. (Expect some macro shots soon!) Murzik is a blue-grey colour, and his name is Russian, and loosely translates as 'he who purrs a lot', as the Russian word for purr is 'Murr'. We originally thought he was a Russian Blue, hence the name- but we've since found out he's a Chartreuse. He's such a personality, and sometimes he seems more human than feline. Totally loveable!
