My new cories will be arriving here today sometime. I will be getting from BetterBettas some: Corydoras oiapoquensis, Corydoras polystictus, and some Corydoras simulatus. I will try to get some pictures later on and I will keep you updated on their progress :good:

Well they arrived nice and healthy as always. Here are some pictures of them after they have been out of the bag for 30 minutes or so. They still are a bit stressed, so the picture taking is limited.

I will try and get some good pictures in a couple of days once they have settled in :good:

very cool additions and i can't wait for more pics.. how many of each did you get???

Thanks.

[8] Corydoras oiapoquensis
[4] Corydoras polystictus
[8] Corydoras simulatus

EDIT: The Corydoras simulatus are not in the pictures above, they were in another room from these.

Hello Barracuda518

Very nice selection of Cory. I almost order the Oiapoquensis from Better Bettas but I got the Robustus and Polystictus last time.

I'm order the Oiapoquensis from other seller right now and hopefully will get in this weekend.

So how big of the Oiapoquensis? Must be nice to have good collection.

Thank you

Thanks. They vary from 1" to 1.5" I guess. All the cories Bryan has are great :good: There a lot of cories he is selling right now that I want.

I like the look of those Corydoras robustus too. How many did you get and do you have any pictures?

Exciting :hyper: Looking forward to more pics. Did you say you are moving? When all is settled, how will you have your cories distributed/tanked?

Hi Barracuda518 :)

They are beautiful! Congratulations on getting some very unusual corys.

I can't wait to see some more pictures once they are settled in. :D

Thanks. The plan is put all the axelrodi in a tank of their own, all the aeneus in a tank of their own (bronze and albino), all the lasers in a tank. The simulatus are in with the semiaquilus & fowleri and they get along great. I checked on them this morning and they were all stuck together like glue! The semiaquilus are a very social cory I have learned. I also plan to keep the oiapoquensis in tank with some pandas (they favor a lot). As for the other cories, I dont have clue yet  Ive got an empty 55 gallon I think I will put them in. The plan is go try and breed most of these when I can get time and space to do it. Although several of them dont care what I think and are doing it now anyways.

Thanks. The oiapoquensis have already settled in nicely. I went to check on them this morning and they would stop and stare at me and then shove their face into the sand. I watched them do that for about 10 minutes. I think they were telling me to feed them :D

The new cories have settled in a lot quicker then I expected, so I took a couple of pictures....

Thanks! I really like them too. Those are C. oiapoquensis. They are very active and have calmed down some of the others too.

The "stripy ones" are C. axelrodi. They are one of my most favorite corydoras. I got 8 of those from Bryan and 3 from Frank. Ive had them for several months now. You cant go wrong buying cories from those guys.

I love the brown sheen they have to them. I hope to spawn them soon too. I know I have at least 4 mature females ready to go :D The ones in those pictures are males.

EDIT: The C. oiapoquensis range from 1 to 1.5" I guess.

i didn't even realize Bryan had oiapoquensis... you must have the inside on his stocklists.. lol..

and great looking fish.. i always liked the oiapoquensis.. have them now, and probably always will keep them.
