they are fancy like the splendens, but since very cute, in a puggish sort of way. will they basically look that way when they are fully matured? i like the color. does it get more intense when mature or stay the peachy shade?
I took this pic almost 2 weeks ago and they're really a lot oranger now, I just don't have the cam anymore,it was borrowed
But yes,they should stay the same with the short tails and pugginess ,my only problem with breeding them is....see how the males mouth turns up so much? It's really difficult for him to grab food so I don't know how he'll grab eggs ,he's in training right now

I call them the "pinky out" bettas because they're so fancy and spoiled , they look so delicate,they're not nearly as hardy as my tough mutts
Nice Wuv...those are some pretty orange fish also !!! I hate to say it but I think some of the plakats have better color then the regular bettas. Now if they only had some finnage like show fish!! Thanks Wuv for posting some pictures.
