Looking good, i dont actually see the attraction with asians (im a sad git who thinks the black arowana's are the best of the lot) but the higher priced ones are deffinately a cut above the usual greens and RTG's.

Out of interest why would you be selling it in a couple of years?

after 2 years i will be able to see if the fish will turn out how i want it

with a xback the shinney scales should go all the way over its back and after 2 years i should be able to see if that will ever happen and can make up my mind if its worth sticking with this one or trying to find a better one

i didnt show the head as then people could see how fat this fish really is :D

are you a perfectionist by any chance :D nice looking fish.looks huge

the hunt for the perfect aro is hard

you should be able to tell its adult potential at about 2 years so if its not looking the way i want it then their is no point in spending more time and food on it i have already been down that road with a 1.5 banjar red and a red tail gold they took 4 yrs of aro grow time

Thats a nice aro, but I actually agree with CFC that the black is the best of the arowanas.

Do you make any money from growing them on or is it just a pasion?

Ben :)

dont you get attached to them after 2 years? i would i think.but i aint kept a fish for nearly that long
