ive recently had 40 or so corys in a 2L cola bottle with an airstone floating in my 39gal, after a week ive moved them all into a breeder net with lots of elodea and hornwort cuttings, makes it look like a mini jungle, i only lost around 7 eggs due to fungi but haven't lost any fry yet 
after moving them to the breeder net they are all eating well, i fed them tetra-min baby powder food for the first week now im feeding crushed flake and daphnia they seem to like daphnia more , ive put them in a breeder net because my 5gal has a chip in the bottom of it 
so ill keep them in the breeder net for around another week and then buy a minibow, which i think will be ok for them till they grow enough to go in my community tank
