Got New Fish In Cold Tank

thanks to tanks alot.............ive gone a brought a pair of paradise fish on thursday lovely fish even my lfs sells them from cold water no problems so far,,, http

What are you keeping with them?.....they are quite aggressive by all accounts.

1 coldwater tank in hallway 4ft with 2xlarge comets 1 common plec and 4 small goldfish

Just keep an eye on them, Ive never kept them myself so Im just going on what Ive been told.

They are lovely looking fish though, I hope it works out.

me tooooo...................love them there great,,,,,,,,,,no fighting at present.........apparently in colder temps makes them less aggresive and a water flow at surface stops bubble nests forming which in tail stops them being so aggressive<so ive heard>anyhow i sleep with 1 eye open.lol

they swim around together permantly and theres no fighting at all...............love em very funny to watch

a friend gave me a tank 2oinchs by 15inchs by 12 inchs...........so ive since set up tank with old filter sponge from other tank and since added one of my paradise fish then 3 days later i added 2nd one.........literally after 1minute they swam head to tail then jiggled and wiggled and out popped a white thing.....every so often they did again again again.......is this spawning???no bubble nest as have filter disturbing top water???

If you got another male then like bettas they will fight. When you say white thing popped out, i take it you mean from the vent? I suppose it could be a female but they need a minimum of 20 gallons.

no it was like eggs which feel to the floor...........i witnessed this around 10 times
