Not always godzuki: females always have fairly short fins, although males can have short fins. Short finned bettas are called plakats, and they're the fin type that wild bettas have.
Beautiful boys and girls everyone! Mine are in my sig; they are the only decent pics I have of them, and the camera isn't charged.

I'll wait til my new guys arrive until I add all mine but here's my longest resident betta Ollie. And I love him to bits.
And this is Teelie, the leader of the female gang. She keeps the peace and stops any trouble. She really is a big and rather butch girl but an utter sweetheart and welcomes in the new girls with open fins. And she is a CT.
