1. Id say its normal 2. I think they can breed at about 3 months and they should be 2 cm by then. 3. I dont think you would need to add anything. They should be able to molt fine on their own. 4. Do you have a filter? I dont think you need to change the water that much.

I would just put him in a plastic container that he can't see out of with some water up to his chin. Someone else might not think so but its only 15 minutes so it won't kill him.

Well I dont really think snails are very delicate so a bucket seems fine to me as long as they can't get out. :good:
