Hi there,
I'm interested in your discus but I live up in Blairgowrie, Scotland so would you be able to post?
I can provide a large polystyrene box if required and I would recommend using APC couriers overnight service.

For a start your tank is on the small size for discus they ideally need 55g but there are quite a lot of people keeping them in 180+ litre tanks.
Are you planning on buying adults or juveniles?
They like/have to be kept in groups of at least 5 when they are young and need ideally daily...
The easiest way to prime these filters is to let the tank fill the filter from empty - that forces all the air out and gives you a better initial flow.
You can fill it up with water yourself but it is messy whe you close the lid and leaves air gaps in the filter.
I have for sale a Rio 180 tank complete with stand and internal filter/heater. The internal filter (sponges included) will need to be re-siliconed to the tank as I removed it when running an external.
Overal the tank is in good condition but there are some scratches on the glass that are...
I'll presume you've got a filter and heater going in the tank. If you want to keep them alive you'll need to do daily water changes (20-40%) with water that has been dechlorinated using tapsafe or something equivalent.
Go buy yourslef a liquid test kit that tests for ammonia, nitrite and...
Hi there,
Yes it includes the stand the original internal filter with all sponges etc and a juwel 200W heater. I can include a few artificial plants too.
I have a Juwel Rio 180 in beach with matching stand and filter/heater if required. The tank does have a few scratches on the glass which are noticable when empty but hardly noticable when full of water.
I'm looking for £130 and stay in Blairgowrie but can deliver to Dundee for theprice of fuel...
Well you've got around about 19-20" worth of fish in there (when fully grown) so I reckon another 13 - 15" worth if you follow the 1" per gallon rule. You should Ideally add at least 3 more albino corys as they are a shoaling species.
