Zedra Dainos And Long Fin Zebra Dianos

can a zebra diano and a long fin zebra diano school together?

because I have some zebra dainos and I reecently bought a long fin zebra daino.

They are the same species. The only issue is the long finnage tends to hamper the swimming of the long finned variety relative to the regular, they may get a little peck every now and again.

I've kept a variety of different danios and the long-finned zebras have always been the most dominant out of the lot of them!

They'll be fine. Even if they're not the same species (i.e. leopard or frankei) they'd be fine. If the fins get nipped, you'll notice them first on the long-fins. Shouldn't really be an issue provided you have a few of each (in case they all feel the new, single long-fin looks fun to chase).

the long-inned zebra danio certianly is the most dominant, so much so that it now leads a school of neons.
But one of my zebra danios didnt react too well to the new long-inned zebras and hasnt eaten much since
I put it in the tank. This morning I found my zebra half dead on the bottm of my tank, when I began to scoop it out it started to move and now it swims around for a few minutes but then It stops and rests on the bottm of the tank. What should I do?

don't worry the zebra danio is dead now . He was attacked by some guppies about a week ago and his finis were damaged. (The guppies also killed my lepord danio so I gave them to my friend)anyway The zebra probly had some kind of internel damage.

well they were local Australian guppies so maby they are more aggressive

Just a little peck my long finned zebra Danio has been nipped to death by my 2 huge female Danios.
I have kinda figured out my zebras are very mean fish. From my experience i think zebras with long fins are not any good.
