Zebra Pleco

So what would I feed this besides algie wafers? I have one in a 40 gallon tank with 2 baby senegal bichirs 2''. I wanted to know how to get it to eat from my hand.

You relaly should have looked into their care before aquiring one but anyway, Zebra plecs prefer a more protein based diet, ie more meaty foods. Bloodworm, daphnia, prawns, mussels, beefheart etc are all foods readily accepted by L46.

As for being able to hand feed it, I would of said it's unlikely as zebs are generally pretty shy creatures who dart for cover as soon as they see movement outside the tank.

I am more concerned that you have a L46 with senegal bichirs? They will end up killing or eating it when they can get the chance and shorting you about 100 pounds or whatever you pair for him. Shore it wasn’t cheap though.
