Zebra + Pearl Danios ?

i have 2 zebras right now, would like to get 2 more... would 2 pearl danios (or any other kind of danio) complete their pack?

My boyfriends brother used to keep zebras and leopards together and they swam in a shoal, that said he had at least 5 of each so you should probably stick to the same kind. He got his from a really crappy LFS and they told him the zebras were the boys and the leopards were the girls instead of different varieties.

in the absence of it's own kind, all danios will school together.
think "mix and match" if you like.
