zebra loaches

6 harli's 6 neons and 3 zebra loaches. Will they be compatable? What wil they eat? I hear they grow 3"? Ive read they are peaceful is this true? Cheers! My tank will be around 10gal. Is it 2 females and 1 male? Sorry if these are really stupid questions! Just told not to trust everything read on the net! Experienced people who are here will be more trustworthy!

Probably.
Anything you feed them.
Yes they will grow to 3".
Yes they are extremly peaceful but may argue amongst themselves.
Not sure if your tank is big enough (I'm not too good on tank sizes and that)
And finally you can't sex them.

Sorry, IMO 10g is too small for any Loach other than Kuhlie or Dwarfs, unless they are juvies and you intend to upgrade their tanks.

Like Hooligan said, thay tend to quarrel when they get older, and they will each need their own hideout or refuge. Mine are about 4 years old, and they've been fighting more over the last couple years.

If you haven't bought the tank yet, I'd upgrade to a 20g (long). It will greatly increase your stocking options.
