I have 3 zebra loaches in my tank, only had them a couple of weeks and they have pretty much wiped out my pest snails 
But I am concerned that they might be picking on my platys.
I had 4 platys in the tank, and a couple of days ago I noticed that one had lost most of his tail. I had seen the loaches chasing him but not realised they had damaged him. Today I found a dead platy - not the one with the missing tail, but one that had been previously healthy.
Tank size is 60l, current stocking is 3 zebra loaches, 3 platys, 5 x-ray tetras, and a BN plec. Tank is fully cycled and has been established about 3 years.
