say, ummm... I am planning on several zebra danios for my upcoming 10-gal; what would you recommend on raising them and preventing poor health? And what is your opinion on these fish?
The zebra danio is a very hearty and fun fish to keep! They are always active and like to be in groups of say at least five. Personally I don't have mine in the ten gal because they are so active that I like to give them more surface, swimming room but some members here do have them in ten gals and it is working for them. Their high level of activity will limit the other types of fish you get - I'd stay clear of top level, slow fish with long fins
Zebras are but like jams said they do like to be in groups. I do not have any myself yet but I have all the other types. They love a bit of current to swim against. A good powerhead will give them plenty of fast flowing water.
