hi iv gt a 10 gallon/40 litre tank and wondering if zebra danios could go in it and how big they get
wat sized group is best also????????????
any info thanx :good: :good:

i would for about 4-6. they like to shoal and get about 1-2 inches

What other fish do you have?
Yes they would be okay i would recommend 5 + as if kept in two small groups they will start pestering other fish by chasing them around.

They're also quite tolerant of other species of fish. Because they are so passive when other fish see them swimming about it eases tension and other fish are more likely to start coming out from hiding. (Incase you wanted to add any other fish).

good!
i love these guys, they are really hardy
get 4 of these and maybe 4 of another danios (excpet giant danios)
they should shoal together

10G is too small for all but dwarf danios!

have to agree with the wolf 10g is to small for zebs as they are fast little active fish
scot :good:

i know no one really likes them but if you want a fast playful fish to watch why not try

long fin white cloud minnows
golden white cloud minnow
white cloud minnows

just another thought :)

i like white clouds hun just got zebs instead
scot :good:

a lot of people just ignore the white clouds even though the long fin and gold ones are nice looking fish
Zebs are good fish i had 6 of them in my juwel rekord (61 x 31 x 36 cm) but they just didnt seem to have enough room , so i took them back to the shop :)

the thing a lot of people dont care about is surface area i saw 20 or more zebs in a tall tank 48" tall x 18"x18" and that was no way enough for the fish but you try telling someone when they say that they have a tank of over 200 ltrs and cant comprehend what you are getting at .

Personally, I think the regular White Clouds are really beautiful fish with lovely colour - much nicer than I'd thought prior to getting some not long ago.
Although I hear a lot of strains have little colour, due to bad breeding, so perhaps I just got lucky...
