ok i just am setting up a 10gl. so i think i will cycle the tank with them and just keep them in that tank! lol and if i dont get them i might get some white cloud mountain minnows.....but yeah i am happy!

can i cycle a tank with white clouds?

The minnows will need colder water than the tropical fish you probably plan on keeping need.

I would not suggest danios for a 10 galon tank because they need lots of room to swim and you can't provide that if you plan on keeping them in a group (which, by the way is the only way they will be happy and stress-free, at least when it comes to fears of predation).

cool, JoBodude i have 2 zebra danios in my 10 gal, and two leopard danios in there also, they are happy, they chase each other around and play.

if you can, get the long finned type. they look really good.

again 10 gallons is not ideal for ZD or LD's

yes WCMM's can be used for cycling, like danios they are subtropical so they can stand tropical temperatures for a short while.
their natural enviroment is streams and rivers in or near the White cloud mountain in china. this envoroment has a short hot summer and the streams are used to snow melts during that time.
