Hi guys, I have been doing some study on Danio rerio and have the opportunity to acquire some of the fish, which in some way would be nice. However, they are not what I intended to put in either of my tanks.
I had a bit of a debate with my supervisor (who would like me to take some cause it saves him re-homing them)about what conditions they like. Both my tanks are planted and have high flow rate. But the literature see http/onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/j.1469-185X.2007.00030.x/abstract suggest they live in pretty much still water in Indian flood plains.
Any thought guys, if anyone keeps them in higher flow tank do they actively swim into the filter flow?
