Zebra Danio Breeding

I had one zebra danio left out of a batch of 5 when I first set up my tank (the others died soon after I bought them). It became quite plump, so I assumed it was a she and thought about getting her to spawn. So at the weekend I bought 5 more (actually one turned out to be a leopard danio, but they don't appear to mind).

I have only one other empty tank, which is just 18"X10"x10", a 75W heater and an assortment of air driven filters. Would it be worth setting up the 18" tank, with marbles, and placing the danios in there, to see if they will spawn? or is it far too small?

Any advice welcome.
