About 4 months I got 8 yoyo loaches for my 120 gallon planted tank, all but one are about 2.5-3" long. One is still the same size it was when I got it, which is about an inch. My water conditions are fine, it's not being picked on and it's eating a lot. It seems to be healthy, the little guy just isn't growing. Could it just be a runt, or is there something wrong?

Tank Details - Ammonia: 0ppm, Nitrite: 0ppm, Nitrate: 5ppm, pH 7.8, Temperature: 79F, Filtration: Eheim 2075, Fluval 105, AquaClear 110.
Diet - Bloodworms, Brine Shrimp, Plakton, Mysis Shrimp, Mosquito Larvae, Mussels, Tropical Flakes, Zucchini, Spinach, Peas and Pest Snails.

Thanks.

Check my thread out I recently posted. I think
It is seemingly normal in the social group for them to grow at quite different rates. If it isn't I'm experiencing similar to you.

The loach died yesterday.. So apparently there was something wrong with it..

The most common reason for botias not growing is internal parasites. It is a very good idea to deworm loaches when you get them, doing this pretty much avoids such deaths.
