Your Favorite Tetra

Just curious...especially for the other category to learn of new tetras and also curious as to why. It seems some people don't like Tetras at all. I find them very easy to care for and an inexpensive burst of color if you buy several.

I voted for other. I have trouble deciding between two species, congo tetra and emperor tetra. I suppose it's their appearance that I like. I've never had either of them, but I'd like to some day.

I voted for "other," too. My favorites are glowlight tetras and blind cave tetras.

They are, indeed, easy to care for and I think that sometimes they get taken for granted because of it.

i've only ever had glowlights , but they're so pretty and are definitely my favourite

I like the emperor tetra (not that i have ever owned one i just like the look of em and they got blue eyes)

Neons!!!!!!! The only reason I don't own them is because my angels are not compatible with them. They have good colours and are like neon lights in a computer case/neon lights in an aquarium.
