Over time I'm sure all of us has had a really bad dream about our fish tanks and thought these could be fun to read if everyone posts.I do relize that dreams are hard to explain so just do the best you can.

I have had a dream where I walked over to my tank and everything was glazed in some kind of black rubber! I could see the tails of my fish sticking out and flipping as tho they were still alive. All my coral was flatend and coverd aswell. I was trying to test the water at that point, My lights went out in the house and a evil sound and feeling pushed me away from the tank as if I was on a skate board.Once I was far away the tank cracked right down the front and busted! I was unable to move like I was pinned against the ground and had to watch the fish on the floor! lucky for me I woke up at that point! and I'm not going to lie, I got up immediately to check and see that the tank was doing just fine.

I know they are dreams but they still make us worry.

Post yours and lets see what we get!

Lol, only ever had 2 dreams about my tank, which are i cracked and the glass fell away but the water was still in a box shaped water in the room. And that the fish were swiming throught the air around my room.
Thats it

I have plenty of bad dreams (about my reef tank) .. usually involve glass cracking, favorite fish dying, tank crashes, etc.......I guess the more valuable the tank, the more bad dreams you have -_-

My worst dream, like so many others, is coming home to 75 gallons or more of water on the floor of my apartment. I think about it all the time and still dont know what I would do if it actually happened. How do you clean up that much water? :S

I worry about 20 gallons of saltwater on my carpet and 75 gallons of freshwater on my carpet.

Not a dream but a reality . . .

I was on vaca in Europe for a week and my brother was taking care of my tank. He had forgotten to keep the air conditioner on in my apartment (it was over 100+ in NY) and all my corals died due to overheating.

mh nightmare - skimmer tube poping off and lekaking on the electrics, causing the whole house to be without electricity for 2 days....

I rarely dream about my tank, then again, I can rarely remember my dreams... I do remember one time though I had a dream that my overflow box had broken syphon and was spilling water on the floor. Snapped awake immediately and wouldn't you know, the damned thing was drizzling on my stand. Good thing it only managed to leak a couple pints before I heard it

This cracks me up!

Had a bad dream where I got woken up buy the guy that lives downstair complaining about water pouring through his ceiling. A snail got stuck in part of the plumbing, the setup wasn't brilliantly thought out and caused it to empty about half the water on the floor and through the ceiling below!

oh wait...

...that was real :X

 O dear, I am sure they wern't too happy!

I have had about 30 odd gallons from my 125 gallon marine tank spill all over my dark blue carpet in my living room, which is now pink!

My external filter tube came out of the filter at 2am once and woke me up. It is about the only thing that can wake me up except buncefield explosion. I got out of bed so quick and fixed the problem. Luckily i have my external filters in an old water tank so they held the water.
