Yo Yo Loaches

i have 4 large yo yo loaches in my tank. Two of which are faded in colour and have all of a sudden become rather fat. can anyone shed any light on this??

Mine are both extremely fat and have been for ages. Colour fading is also common so don't worry your loaches are fine.

slightly off topic but what is a yoyo loaches full size?

i believe that yoyos can get up to 8-9 inches in size despite commonly being advertised as 3-4 inches max. theres a couple of people on this forum who have BIG yoyos that 8/9 inches. fading colour is often seen in yoyos when they are excited or stressed. when 2 are having a scrap you will often see them lose their colour completely
