Yo Yo Loach Interaction

My yo yo loach lose their typical body markings when they interact, but i have noticed that it doesnt happen everytime.wt cud it be...mating or aggression?...i have 4 of them.

i highly doubt its a mating thing...these are loaches which means its sooooooo hard to get them to breed naturally in aquaria. positive thinking though lol it took me like 4-5 years to get my weather loaches to spawn and they are considered alot more easier to spawn than other loaches like the yoyo loach or clown loach.

i have found, through experience of keeping this fish, that this is quite an aggressive fish for a loach so this is most likely to be the answer im affraid.

Yes i figured that out now but i think it is kind of territorial behaviour too because when i add new objects or rearrange them(caves,plants....)i see this behaviour more often,but after sometime they swim together as though nothing happened and none of them gets hurt.
