I just KNOW this one has been asked before. But I can't recall if neon tetras can be kept with a male betta in a 10g tank.I'm setting a tank up to keep my aquabid winner fishie and I'd like to have a small group of other fish in with him.I have five neons in with a female betta in my 5g tank and they are ok.But I was thinking of moving the neons and adding a 2 or 3 more to round out a school.Anyone know if this would be a bad idea?

Thanks,

Koda

The first thing that comes to mind is a post I remember seeing of a guy who posted pics of his male betta eating his neons. :X  Anyways, it just so depends on the betta you just can't be sure. Personally, I wouldn't risk it. :dunno:

Thanks...I kind of thought I remembered hearing about problems but I wasn't sure.I can always put in a couple of ADFs and maybe try platies.
