Yet another Betta Death Trap

I just found this Item on ebay.
I'm going to email the seller and educate him/her about betta care. Maybe if we all do this when ever we see one of these auctions, these sellers will stop selling these things

Yep those are tiny tanks not suitable for any living fish, i hate it also when people sell off these kinds of tank as Zen or good karma household ornements- jeez, i mean like what kind of karma are you gonna attract if you keep a living animal in such an appaling tank? not good karma and thats for sure

Holly...Bananas!!! Those things are tiny!!! The width of the bowl looks to be only about the length of the betta You'd have to be cleaning that thing ATLEAST 3 times a day...thats just horrible. The poor un-educated people who will buy this (hopefully nobody will buy it though) and stuff it half full with gravel and a nice busy plastic plant *cringe* And then they'll wake up the next morning to dead bettas, or bettas with fin rot...or bettas with fungus...or bettas who are sitting at the bottom of their bowls because of sheer misery. But hey, bettas are suppost to be non-active fish that lie around all day doing absolutly nothing, right? I think they would be nice WITHOUT the bettas, and maybe a small plant. I think it may be cruel to keep a freakin PLANT in something that small though...*shuddder*

Those so-called "tanks" look like nothing more than a votive candle holder for crying out loud!!! Anyone who would put a fish in something that small for a permanent home should be referred to PETA. They should also have to live in a closet.

Ugh, that is just horrible >_< I don't know how people can think a fish can live in an area so small that they can hardly move. I see those tiny tiny TINY "tanks" at walmart for bettas with the lights on them and just want to throw every single one on the shelf onto the floor XD Stupid people, I really do hope nobody actually buys these miniature prisons.
