Hi Kas, there isn't any difference from the yellow morph to the normal strain except for the fact that the yellow's tend to be less colourful than normals.
Ideally they like a ph of 6.5 or lower and temperatures of 72'F to 77'F, they pretty much max out at around 5 cm and like to be kept in shoal as big as possible, as many as 10 would be ideal. They do like bright well planted tanks and look great in a small biotope tank and they feel at home at all levels of the aquarium. The one downside to these lovely fish is that they can be very sensitive when first purchased and are considered by lots of fish keepers to be very delicate, they also like plenty of live or frozen foods.
The males have the long extensions to their fins that are lacking in the females, the males also tend to be more brightly coloured.
