Can anyone give me some information about the Yellow Phantom Tetra? I can't find anything about it anywhere yet my local pet shop has some for sale. They look like a very interesting fish, they're almost discus in shape and kinda angelfish looking with long thin fins, they are very see-through (you can see all organs inside, its "skin" is a yellowish) and they're a little odd in that they don't really SWIM around, they just kinda twitch and float around in one place...Anyone have any clue as to what I'm talking about? If you do, PLEASE give me some info.

I've not heard of it - does it resemble the black or red phantom tetras at all or is it just a coincidentally similar name for a different fish?

Oh no, it doesn't look anything like the yellow tetra or any tetra I've seen. It's more discus/angelfish like in shape with an overall rounded body (but slim), with long, thread-like fins and completely see-through...I have no idea what it could be because the pet shop must have the name wrong. Maybe I'll go today and ask them exactly what that fish is if they just don't have it labeled...
