Oh, and make sure you check that your heater didn't burst apart in the tank :/

I have actually done that before... a large water change, oops forgot to unplug the heater, then "pop, zzztttt". It was definitely a quick lesson for me!

How are the fish in the tank? Are they acting normal?

the heater was off, but it was really high and melting stuff, lol. it was only really high so that my fry could grow quicker. but the fish are doing good.

Try using a carbon pad in your filter, it should filter any chemicals or nasties out of your water. Change it after week though or it will leach it straight back in.

Did you put anything new into the tank such as bogwood or decor.

Oh, and chill out!

HAD SIMILAR PROBLEM IN MY TANK COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO. CHANGED OUT MY FILTER TO SOMETHING BIGGER. ALSO USED MICRON FILTER TO HELP CLEAR FOGGINESS. WENT AWAY IN ABOUT 2 DAYS AFTER CHANGING TO NEW FILTER SYSTEM. NOW USING A CANISTER FILTER

Oh, and chill out!
whats that suposed to mean? and it went away but a bit came back again. i think i already have 1 of those cartridge things, should i get another 1 maybe?

Turn out your lights completly
DO NOT change your filter or drain the tank completly, it doesnt matter that your using your old gravel, the bacteria colonise mainly in the filter, if you change all your water, the difference in qualities will no doubt wipe out your filter. as i said turn out your lights, use a product call ACU-CLEAR, which is a floculating agent and works by binding water bourne particulate matter together. and simply wait. this will be the best thing for your fish as you will be reducing stress levels. if your water quality was fine then the fish will be fine. there is a difference between water clarity and water quality. water clarity wont kill your fish, water quality will!

good luck

thanks, it was all cleared up today.
