Yeast

I am not sure whether i am supposed to post this here or in the planted section

I got yeast today!!! one is in powdered form and the other in a Block form, sorta like a block of butter.

Which one am i supposed to use?

and what color is the yeast (the ones u guys use) supposed to be? I dont understand polish and so even if it said on the powder packet that its instant i would have no idea. so i hav to go by color.

I used powdered for mine. About a cup of suger and 18g of yest, with about a litre of warm water.

why do you wanna to use YEAST,, and is this a normal YEAST for (baking)?

search up DIY CO2 on google and you will get PLENTY of info on DIY CO2.

yeast eats sugar to make CO2 which can then be used in a planted tank....this saves u money as yeast and sugar are very cheap.
