But by pure accident...
I have a large driftwood in my tank and the tank always has been busy with many species. I had these bristlenoses for about 9 months now (they were about 1.5 inches when I got them) and one out of 4 turned out to be a male...
About a month ago, for some reason, the male found this little hole near the bottom of the driftwood and wouldn't come out! The hole is barely big enough for him. (I can always see his tail). I thought these guys were getting more shy as they are maturing but about one hour ago, I saw a little orange thing move on the back of the glass (yes all of my bristlenoses are albinos). Wow, I saw one that's about 1cm long. Then I observed another one! So now I have two (hopefully more) babies that I didn't even know I had...
Interesting as I was about to setup their own 15g to spawn them and instead, I had one already in my community tank!
Yeah, they look cute... (the babies, not the adults!)
