I got fish for my tank today (Yay!!!!)

5 very VERY pretty Platies (all girls)
4 zebra danios & 1 leopard danio (because the poor guy was accidently put in the same tank with the zebras...so he ended up being one of the ones that the guy at the store caught :D)

They're still getting used to the water temperature, in about 30 mins I can let them out of the bags :D

:fish: You should only need to float the bags for about 10 mins, add a small amount of your tank water to the bag about every 3-4 mins and then let the fish out :D

I know, but I like to leave it a lil longer :D

ended up picking up my GORGEOUS little scribbled plec as well.

thats why I'm going to water changing every copule of days for the next two weeks.

In all honestly I only went in there to get 3 fish. And I ended up having 10...then my plec because the guy at the store was going to sell him tomorrow morning if I didn't collect him (which I found out AFTER I got the other fish)

(just so you know I'm copying & pasting this to the other thread where I talk about my fish)

after much talking last night with my neighbour he's leant me his established 15 galloon which he uses for "storage" - usually of 7-12 fish at a time.

My platies and plec are living in there for the next two weeks. (adding the platies next week and the plec the week after if all goes well)

That is a brilliant plan!!

You get your fish but not all too quickly!!

I am impressed :)
