I got a new camera!!!
Awesome camera, eh?

So, now maybe I can finally get some decent pics of my boys. And I'll be able to get great pics of my girls when they get here! The camera should be coming not long after the girls do, so I'm happy.

And the best part of it all is, I didn't have to pay for the camera! I'm getting married in June, so my grandpa paid for it as an early wedding present!!!

nice job on that find! My digi camera just pooched out on me.. the zoom is stuck 'out', but the camera has turned itself off and won't turn on again. Ive tried the battery, i think I'll have to take it in..

My old camera did that once, so it sat on a shelf for a month. Then I found it one day, and out of curiosity, I turned it on. It came right on and has worked perfectly ever since. I have no clue what happened with it!

My fiance is getting my old camera... he just uses it for snapshots every once in a while, so it will work out perfectly for him. It's only a 3MP with a 3x optical zoom.

Taybird, I still have my Nikon 885 in a drawer and it's lens is still popped out and won't retract back in when I turn it off. When I turn it on, it can't focus right because it's misaligned I think. I searched online about this and supposedly alot of people with this model have had their Nikon's "worm gear" breaking. Hope this isn't your problem. The only solution for me would be to send it back to Nikon for repairs; who knows how expensive that would be ... I just bought a new camera instead.

Nope, it's the 10th. The anniversary of when we started dating is the 22nd of June, so it's close.
