They're all beautiful but I love Eve's colour especially.

Very nice..of course I like Iara, because of my new found love in Melano's lol.

I can give a tip on taking pictures of them. Put a light above them. This makes enough light that when you still use your flash it doesn't "white" them out, or make them look faded.

I have one of those cheap-o pop lights (from the Dollar Store) for the tanks I have that didn't come with lights. You know, those that take batteries and you push on the dome to make the light go on and off...I think they were marketed for closets and small spaces that don't have electrical access. :D

Thanks everyone for the comments :*)

SRC I know what your talking about....I forget the name...(Or at least I think I know) How do you hook them on to your tank? Thats a really good Idea though.

Well I only use them when taking pictures. I have several tanks made out of storage containers (hospital tanks) and my divided boy tank has no light source. So I take the ones that I have a hard time getting photos of out of there and put them in a hospital tank. I just put the light on top...the opening is circular.

My Melano (Kam) actually is in a tank with a light on top (a 1 gallon from Wally-World) but I usually turn the light off to take pics of the others that are in teh same tanks, but with him leaving the overhead light on makes him show up much better.

If it was a rectangle or square mouth tank...you could tape 2 rulers (or paint stir sticks) to the top..so the light doesn't fall in the tank lol...and sit the light on top of them.

hehe thanks Jollysue!! I just got a male to go with the HMx girly hes so cute! hes tiny though...so i will have to wait to breed them for a while but hes way adorable ill post later.... :)
